QUICK! GREAT VIEW OF THE PLANETS TONIGHT

Tonight it is possible to see all the main planets although Mercury and Venus will be very low in the sky and Uranus will need binoculars, at least.

Venus and Mercury

Take a look asap before 18:00 is best - low down in the south west. (The other planets you'll have longer to check out!)

Saturn will be a little higher as per the map above and Jupiter will be close to the beautiful crescent moon during the night.

Mars is riding high in the sky tonight and as the evening progresses ORION will rise below Mars - what a view! Just to the right of Mars is the fuzzy blob star cluster The Seven Sisters or Pleiades

ENJOY!
