I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your support in 2020. It is so appreciated.
It has been a tough year in so many ways for so many of us on our small rocky planet. We can only have hope for 2021.
I am pleased to say there has been one glimmer - that is, Galaxy on Glass has been really popular this year- more than ever. So many people have taken the decision to purchase a picture to brighten their home with some artwork from deep space. I am hugely grateful for your support and faith in my work.
The past year has been busy too - I have launched this Newsletter, photographed new objects, launched new images, run competitions, written many blogs and launched a new web site.
I have been helped with my marketing by Wendy Blanton and Rachel Bath - which I really appreciate.
I have also been helped by the team at New Scientist Magazine, especially Jacqui McCarron.
Sadly there was no New Scientist Live this year so I missed many of you but let's hope it goes ahead in October 2021 as planned. I would love to see you again in London.
But most of all I wanted to thank you - for following me and especially to my new and returning customers. Don't forget there is a special 20% discount as a way of saying 'thankyou' to my subscribers and customers - available on all orders until the 31st December 2020. Just use the code: christmas on check-out.
Finally - what about Galaxy on Glass 2021? There are some exciting new things in the pipeline- not least I will be establishing a new observing site to compliment my northern hemisphere set-up in Nerpio, Spain. By mid-year I hope to have an additional observatory running in Australia to capture the beautiful objects only available in that hemisphere. Expect new images throughout the year!
I wish you all a happy Christmas- well the best we can manage under the circumstances and a happy new Year - roll on 2021 - that's what I say!
Warmest regards Chris Baker.
